Sheraton Lima Historic Center
The Sheraton Lima Historic Center is seeking a friendly, responsible, and highly organized individual to join our team as a receptionist/waitress/waitress. In this hybrid role, you will be the first point of contact for guests, greeting them with a warm smile and ensuring a positive experience from start to finish. You will also provide exceptional service by taking orders, serving food and beverages, and making sure every guest feels welcome and valued.
Responsibilities:
Greet guests upon arrival, assist with check-in, and escort them to their tables.
Answer phone calls, manage reservations, and respond to guest inquiries regarding hotel services, dining options, and other guest amenities. Maintain a clean and welcoming reception area, ensuring it is always presentable and well-organized. Ensure proper table assignments and promptly manage seating arrangements. Provide information about the hotel, restaurant specials, promotions, and events. Address guest concerns or complaints promptly and professionally to ensure their satisfaction.
Duties:
Take food and beverage orders accurately and communicate them to the kitchen staff. Serve food and beverages efficiently, ensuring impeccable presentation and customer satisfaction. Monitor tables, refill beverages, clear plates, and provide additional services as needed.
Promote dishes, beverages, and specials to increase sales. Maintain the cleanliness of the dining area, including cleaning tables, arranging seating, and setting tables. Process payments, manage transactions, and provide the correct change.
Requirements:
Previous experience in the hospitality industry as a receptionist, waiter/waitress, or waitress is valued.
Excellent communication skills and a strong customer focus are essential.
A positive, friendly, and professional attitude is required at all times.
The ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment is necessary.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are also required.
Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, is necessary.
Physical stamina is required to stand for extended periods and carry trays or plates.
Basic math skills are necessary for processing payments and transactions.
